Fermented Calcium Propionate FCD-550
Pallas Natural Fermented Calcium Propionate NatureFort FCD-550 can inhibit growth of pathogenic bacteria and moulds. It is a safe and effective food preservative and antifungal ingredient and is approved by WHO and FAO. Fermented Calcium Propionate is used to replace benzoate and sorbate, furthermore it doesn‘t inhibit the yeasts in the bakery. It is produced with wheat starch or corn starch by fermentation process. Nisin
Nisin is produced by Lactococcus lactis, it‘s a kind of polypeptide of composing 34 amino acid residues with molecular weight 3500 Da. Nisin is widely used in food industry as food preservative as it can inhibit most of gram positive bacteria, meanwhile it can strongly inhibit the spores of bacillus. -
